LOL, yeah I was thinking that seemed a bit steep.  I know you don't want to divulge your sources, but maybe you could partner with someone down here to help get the systems tested/running, if they're not able to get them to you in Canada?  Just a thought, would still love a pic of all these NOS & used 4000T systems.  Think it'd make an awesome photo, wish I could afford one! :)

I thought about entering your contest but I already have two A2000's, not sure what I would do with a third.  ;)  Good luck to all the folks who entered!

Oh man, that's unfortunate!  Customer service when dealing with a-holes is really the hardest part of just about any job.

I've got a horror story to share with you.  20 years ago I was the manager of an auto parts store, and these guys came in an bought a starter from me.  No big deal, right?  So a few hours later they show back up with this starter in pieces.  For whatever reason, they'd completely disassembled their brand new starter.  They thought (or claimed they thought) they had to take it apart to install it.  So I put this thing all back together, bench test it right in front of them, showed them it works, and send them back on their way.  A couple hours later they show back up again, and demand a refund.  I say to them "You can't get a refund, you took the thing all apart and messed it up!"  Well they wouldn't leave my store, I had to call the police to get them out.

Next day they call in and the owner gives them a refund.  Because people have learned that sometimes when you're a big enough a*hole, you can get your way.  But that doesn't make you any less of an a*hole.

And this is why customer service sucks, sorry that that really doesn't relate to your situation at all, but good luck reopening your store!  :hammer:

Gaah!  I love reading your blog entries, but NSFW!  I couldn't reach for the close button fast enough when I clicked on this.  I mean, not that I dislike the image or anything, but def. was not expecting it!  :furious:

I only see the same six items when I refresh your page, is there a link to the rest of your stuff somewhere that I'm missing?

Off chance, you got any A2000 '060 boards kicking around up there that you don't want anymore?

Talk to yourself much? ;)

LOL.  Everybody's a critic.  ;)

I enjoy his blogs, and keep an eye on his posts for if he ever gets something for sale that'd be of interest to me.  He must be getting a few hits on his website from here, otherwise he wouldn't keep posting.  :p

my friend from down south, emailed me the following photo, he was wondering if he should toss it or if it was worth something. I knew what it was and almost wet myself! I tried to convince him to give it to me, but no, he will clean it up and put it on ebay soon.

Wow!  That poor board, it looks like it was run over by a tank.  :(  Would love to hear it's backstory, and see it cleaned up!

Last I heard from the owner, it was cleaned up, sold for a crazy amount and shipped to Europe somewhere. The owner didn't even have a chance to post it on ebay or anything. Someone he knows is very very wealthy and buys all the crazy rare stuff from him for a Mint.

Sweet!  Did you guys manage to get it working?
