Title: DualCor Handtop: 2 CPU 2 OS Handheld
Post by: asian1 on January 17, 2006, 08:02:18 AM
From CES:
Handtop has an 800x480 screen, 40G HD, 1G of DDR2 ram, 3 USB2 ports, a mini VGA port, and a phone. It has two CPUs one is a 400MHz Intel PXA263 Xscale and that one runs the windows mobile/Windows CE, and a 1.5GHz VIA C7-M X86 processor that runs the Windows XP Tablet Edition.

Is it possible to create similar PDA with ColdFire + Minimig + C7?

Anything's possible with enough cash!

The plausibility and likelihood of it happening are different things entirely though!

The 1.5GHz VIA chip on that ought to do a reasonable job of running UAE...

Anything is possible.  Who would buy it and at what price?
