« on: September 16, 2015, 06:31:59 AM »
Hello.
Concerning low cost Game Machines, would anyone like to share their experience with getting uAe or Aros on any of these?
Also, has anyone used the Nvidia Shield stb?
Thanks.

I would have to say that I am impressed.
Google Play has a lot of emulators.

I believe the reviewer stated that the PS4 was better over all.
The Shield has 4K movies. I am not for sure about games.

It looks like the shield is at the top of the stack. I dislike the idea that the unit with no HDD can not be upgraded to have one. The external HDD and SD card option good though. I hope it does not need a pervasive internet connection. At times I would need to go to my relatives house and use his internet.

I did see that some one talked about that on Youtube.
It seems to affect the HDD of the $299 unit.

I saw a Chrome Book at a local pawn shop and it 2 GB Ram and 16 GB of SSD storage space.
Any idea what it could be used for, emulation, Aros, etc?

Thanks. I still would like to put Amiga OS 4.1 FE on a laptop.
It would be cool to put it on an Arm system.

Door prop, coaster, chuckle :D

Chrome Book: I think it is a dual core
I guess I could solder in a larger NAND, say a 128 GB chip minimal?
