don't forget to update to the new minigl release if you haven't already (link). i've been fortunate enough to beta test the new W3D software from hans. the wait has been worth it. :)

the revision of open firmware used by the pegasos2 is unable to correct initialize radeonHD video cards, even using a PCIe-to-PCI adapter. so no radeonHD in the future for us unless someone convinced the bplan guys to help out.

The 9800pro would be the fastest card for the Peg2.

no. you'd need to upgrade to one of these:

* Radeon HD 7750-7970 series graphics card (excluding the Radeon HD 7790)
* Radeon R7 250X/265 (excluding R7 250)
* Radeon R9 270/270X/280/280X
