After upgrading to 2.2, I can no longer play video. I get the following error on all players.
EE radeon_uvd.c:1285 si_common_uvd_create_decoder UVD - Can't init command submission context.
I tried copying back anything to do with Radeon or Polaris but I cannot isolate it. Video was working fine before the 2.2 upgrade.

Hello
Please backup and delete the file Libs:VA/RadeonHD_drv_video.library
This should fix the problem
The best option is to upgrade to the new RadeonHD V5 driver:

Will Radeon v5 fix my opengl2 issues I am having as well?

Deleting Libs:VA/RadeonHD_drv_video.library fixed my issue. I can play video again. I put all the 2.2 files back and everything is still ok.
Amigakit,
Can you explain the difference between the HD and RX drivers? I have a Radeon R9 280x card that is the South Islands. That is one of the most modern cards but not the latest card. The South Islands appears to be the latest family that the Radeon drivers fully support. However when I was reading on another board, they made it sound like the HD were old ancient and RX were more modern and latest.
