Description: Just posting this for Karlos really... I tried MagicTV and its pretty good! I made a new background so that my WB's backdrop wasn't so dithered...! It works quite nicely though! | Karlos Posts:16867 | January 15, 2007, 06:02:20 PM Not sure about your experience but when I used it, it seemed to give an antialiasing like effect so that you actually didn't see the pixels as sharp as the screenshot above shows. I used to find 11pt fonts perfectly OK, but I had to increase the display contrast a bit as I recall. Fine tuning your palette is the killer, getting just the right 16 colours is no mean feat. I remember the developer (years ago now) was experimenting with the notion of a HAM based display to increase the number of colours available. Not sure if he ever got that far. |
