Turn off debugging AmiTCP
« on: February 18, 2006, 06:42:36 PM »
When I have AmiTCP started and am i.e. surfing the web I get a window "AmiTCPIP Log" with lots of [debug] entries. I don't want that. But how can I turn it off?

have you read the instructions in readme or guide files?
try to run it from a shell, type this:  amitcp ?
maybe it gives you some parametres.

If i am going to have bugs on my system,
at least let me keep the latest versions.

You should most likely start AmiTCP (AmiTCP:bin/startnet) without debug as argument.

However, if you want to disable the log console, add the line "consolename=nil:" to AmiTCP:db/AmiTCP.config.
