Insider tip for metal fans: "Up In Hell"
« on: March 06, 2007, 08:37:53 PM »
Metal fans attention please:

Last Friday (02-mar-07) I followed an invitation to the Release Party of the first CD of "Up In Hell" - a boss "Metal `N` Roll" band from Cologne, Germany - at the "MTC" here in Cologne (the bassist is one of my mates).

The hall can hold about 250 people and was full to bursting - every age group between 16 and 60 was present.

At 21:30 on the dot the curtain of the small stage rose and the show began. The five guys rocked like hell!

After a few moments most of the people in the hall started to dance and kept on doing so, until the last note of the third encore had died away!
Nearly two hours of choicest full steam rock!
Everything was perfect!

 :devildance: :devildance: :devildance: :devildance:
.....:devildance: :devildance: :devildance:
 :devildance: :devildance: :devildance: :devildance:

The hall was clamouring and was crying for encore in such a way that "Up In Hell" came back three times and finally had to play again the first song of the evening as "really last song"...

They played in such an professional way on that tiny stage that one could easily think they already are in business since ages!

I only can recommend to everybody who likes "Metal 'N' Roll" to try out the CD "Trance" - and to see "Up In Hell" live, as far as possible!

This power! Yeah!
Long live Rock 'n' Roll!
 :pint:
All the best,

Dandy

I think its just a little word play. Tip and point (in the right context) being very similar in meaning.

Amendment:

Last Friday the album "Trance" from "Up In Hell" was on sale the first day.

After finishing my work I went to "Saturn" - and when I got there at 4 P.M. just one copy of the album was left  :-o , of which I'm the proud owner now.

So the album was "SOLD OUT" at 4 p.m. at "Saturn" here in Cologne on the very first day it was publically available!

As some friends of me asked me to buy one for them as well, I had to ask the Saturn employee to reorder the album for this week...

No idea what the situation is in other shops, but you might have to hurry up, if you want to avoid waiting for the next batch!

My declared favourite songs are No. 9 ("Save Me") and No. 12 ("Offroad Trippin"), whereas the latter for me has a "catchy tune" charakter.

Exactly the proper sound to wake me up at 5 A.M.!
 :-D
Yeah!

But this does not mean that the rest of the album is not worth listening - basically all songs are super!

Yeah - I just saw that a video of one of my favourite songs from the "Release Party" of the album "Trance" has been put on the web for watching and downloading (mp4 - click on "foto/video" at the top and then select "Video - Trance-Release Party"):

Offroad Trippin'

Enjoy this piece of "full steam music" from
Cologne * Germany!
