MorphOS on My G4 Quicksilver 2002 933mhz
« on: June 21, 2011, 11:10:55 AM »
Ive downloaded MorphOS 2.7, burned it to a cd. When i try do boot from the cd i get a console failed error. I have even changed the dvd rom with other apple dvd roms. It runs a Radeon 9800 pro card, but i've changed the card with other ATI cards to see if it works. But every time it gives me the console failed error.

I found a video on youtube with instructions on how to boot the cd from openfirmware but same error there as well. Im begining to think that MorphOS dont support my machine at all even though its stated on other forums that All AGP G4 towers are supported.

Anybody got a sollution to this?

Ive tried different ATI cards all with ppc bios. But the same error occur.

Update: I had to use Mac original Bios for my ATI cards instead of Reduced roms. So now it works :)))
