BTW,
Why isn't the category labelled:

Coffee-House (formerly Talk-About)((previously to then- DMZ))? :-)

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

-EDIT- (following a visit to C-H )

- Some questions -

1)True, a name such as General, allows for a broad range, but WHY isn't there a separate Coffee-House division for
Humour?

2)In regard to the linking of images . . . is there just a Size Limit for embedding images, such as under 450 or 500 pixels wide, with LARGER images prefered as URL Links?

3)Do you have a policy, or recommend, that VERY controversial images (or Sites) such as those bordering on soft-Pr0n have a WARNING Notice in text in such Links?

I put one online, and instantly it started getting flooded with dirty jokes and images which definitely didn't fit into the realm of acceptability here.  Since no one thinks anything's funny unless it's dirty or unacceptable, no forum for it.

Do not link to external images.  Just understand the fact that LARGE IMAGES BREAK THE FORMATTING OF THE SITE.

We've already covered this in the posting guidelines.

Or a human psyche CH or something like that.

i think he meant just use a url for large images, so the image doesnt load or go through the site at all, you just see a url to click on... thats how i handle images normally anyway.

There are lots of things that aren't dirty that are funny. Please bring the humour section back. We need a laugh now and again. Pleeeeeaaaaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeee....

I agree, but in the first hour of it's creation, there were 11 unacceptable jokes posted, and zero non-dirty jokes.  As such, we just don't have the time to police such a forum and it would only upset people who disagree as to whether or not their joke was appropriate.

Sorry, not at this time.

Please can you add one soon, though, Wayne.

Cheers.

No, and I don't think I was very unclear as to why either.
