Have just made a major office faux pas.

There's a guy in the office here who's made my life hell for a while now and I took it upon myself to respond to one of his emails where I compared him to a part of the female anatomy for his intention to pick on a particular victim at this year's xmas party.

Only thing is, he was standing behind one of the recipients as they opened the email.  Doh!

Because there was an hour left of my shift. By the time I was there it'd be almost over.

I must have heard the alarm, got up, switched it off and reset it for 4.30pm (God knows why) and then gone straight back to sleep. I say "must have" because I don't remember a thing about it. First thing I knew, I woke up in broad daylight. :-(

i used to just say i got absolutely blitzed the night before and didn’t bother to come in etc....they can only give you a written warning...no big deal...

Just be up front with then and it’ll be ok...after all it’s the festive period...
