It actually looks very cool to have the signature on the trapdoor plate.

I asked him to sign the Bottom of mine and he signed the Top. It would have been really great to have the underneath signed but the top is unacceptable imo.

Luckily isopropyl alcohol easily removed it from the top of the case.

What "NONE PROFIT PROJECT for the Amiga Community" is he talking about? I haven't been following his Facebook page.

Petro is German, it's his way of saying "not for profit", as in he's doing this for the Amiga community, not to make some extra Cash.

Im personally very grateful, I wouldnt own a mint a1200 if it weren't for him!

Well they are brand spanking new, sure the box isn't in perfect condition and the cables have a residue that needs to be wiped off but the a1200 itself is 100% mint condition!

Petro was a big player in C= Europe and helped negotiate several of the rescue deals so he's partly responsible for the AmigaTech a1200's existing at all.

And I see you also got an Amiga with two blank keys Frankly, that was a surprise for me...

Many folk got the newer MB revision which is a lot harder to apply timing fixes to.

lol, yeah im guessing it was a commodore cost cutting measure allowing them to make 1 physical keyboard and just change the key-caps to suit the region.

Bank transfer is the only option which is a shame because it added quite a lot if extra expense and dicking around for me!

Open an xe.com trade account. Fairly painless, and bank transfers are really cheap.

The problem I had was that Petro's bank charges a fee to receive the money and there is no way for your bank to know how much that is!
