For scientific purposes I'm sure.
:D :D

You know, such kind of content is hard to find on the net otherwise... ;-) No, seriously, being editor of a german Amiga news-site it should be obvious that I'm interested which former magazine's website has been "recycled" to redirect to that kind of stuff. Because the biggest surprise to me is that there must have been enough links left online to that site to make it worth bothering with taking the domain.

Amiga Topcool

I never read any of their (very few) issues. With a name like that, you deserve punishment anyway.

Oh hell - it appears they're back again.

Sorry guys, but it appears they're not done trying to flog us dead horses.

From what I've been told, they didn't have anything to sell. The images of products were just that, images with no stock.  iContain no longer has a license so it doesn't matter.

Please do due diligence here. This is not personal. Please view this as a community service post.

From Facebook:
Quote
I placed an order on on Nov. 23rd for two Amiga 7" tablets with cases and keyboards. The money for the order was withdrawn from my PayPal account on Nov. 25th. It's been over a week since I placed the order and I've not received ANY correspondence from Amiga to acknowledge the order or give me a ship date. These units are Christmas presents for my 2 kids. Starting to get nervous that I've made a bad choice buying from Amiga.

Amiga shop page is still 404, and I have yet to find one single person who received product.
Supposedly Amiga Inc. is mailing out an explantion on a form with what they call an "Amiga Incident Number".

Anyone from Amiga Inc. care to comment or dispute this?

Like McBill would spend his limited time at a free wifi site like McDonald's to read AO?

Well, since they claim another manufacturing run was needed, you would -think- at least one person on an Amiga website would have reported they received product by now, since that indicates unexpectedly high sales. Heh.

Usually, they'll park your site for 14 days before releasing it for sale.
