Hi,

Having a problem on two different machines.. One is an A1200 running 3.x using IDE HD's and the other is an A2000 running 2.04 with a SCSI HD.

Any time I try to copy a large number of files from one HD partition to another, from one IDE or SCSI device to another, it ends up locking up every time at random files.

I have used Shell, Diskmaster II, Workbench drag and drop....

Is there something with the old drivers or cards or a fix that I need to resolve this because I can't believe it has not been seen over the years before...

There is by far not enough information here to give an answer. You should describe your configs in every detail, hardware- and software-wise.

Also run this program on either machine and attach the reports here: http://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-online.de/downloads/hddreport.lha
