Lots of Amiga goodies on my website now :-D
« on: December 06, 2008, 07:16:40 AM »
Hi all,

I've added some new stock to my website

I've added some new 4MB 30 pin SIMMS, null-modem cables, new Toshiba ZIP RAM, and CF to IDE adapters (female direct insert). There's quite a bit of gear there now, well, for a one man "hobby" operation :-P

Hi Nathan,

Must say, your prices are pretty good, even the postage is a bargain!

Now, I just need you to get some of those 128MB 72-pin SIMMs, so I can max out my Blizzard 1230 IV! :-)

Cheers,

Mike.

@Gavilan

That depends, if they take those unique GVP 64 pin SIMMS, then no. You could check the Big Book of Amiga Hardware to see what accelerator takes what RAM, or google/research. They should work in just about anything that takes  normal 30 pin SIMMS. They work great in my GVP Imapct Series II HD+ (I tested them just to be on the safe side, even though they are new). It's my worst nightmare to sell faulty hardware to a customer, so I always test hardware where possible.

Gavilan is a good man, and not just because he is one of my best customers! It's just a shame that he lives so far away, just as certain people in the UK do. I would have loved to have a few pints with 'em all (or "beers" depending on the country :-P)
