I bought this also about 2 years ago now? Best I could achieve was 3MBs per/sec with SD card reader. Looking at Amigakit website, they only now only sell the 4 way adapter.

Make sure that the Gayle adapter part is put on correctly as this I what is supposed to give the IDE speed increase. Drivers are installed correctly. If using more than one IDE device, then IDEFIX ‘97 is installed and patched.

Personal recommendation is the FASTATA. But even that can be problematic, as I never could get the 16MB sec speed in mentions. Instead only getting 6MB sec. With a 1260 or 060 BPPC accelerator.

Have had the MKII and V versions.

I still use SCSI to get the best speeds.
