Hmm, years ago when ACS was open in Sacramento, I had a PAL A1200 converted to NTSC by owner/tech Jim Sutherland.  He told me that he changed one resistor and cut 4 traces.  It worked!

However, a few months ago TOGA tech Duncan M. told me that was not right.  Maybe what he meant to say was that it was not a complete conversion.  Perhaps you're list of changes above is more complete.
