Is it me or do people use video games, movies, music and even books as a an easy get out of an argument clause.
It's sickening what they did and they should be thrown down a dark hole and forgotten about.

Reminds me of those stupid kids who blamed Beavis and Butthead for lighting their house on fire. It became such a big deal that Mtv yanked all the sections that had Beavis yelling, "Fire! Fire!"...
Idiots, both the kids AND the grown-ups who listened to them...

They committed a horrid crime. They had every intention of torturing that poor man. Bragging about it and saying it was like a game is just a simple get out clause for them. Just like the bevis and buthead thing, it wasn't the media that did this but the person.
This will spark the usual debates that erupt with these things. I just hope they don't do like they did with the video nasties thing and blanket ban or censor stuff.

As far as I'm concerned, linking to thesun.co.uk should be a punishable crime in civilised countries.

If I ever go nuts and climb a clock tower with a rifle, I will leave notes EVERYWHERE that "MICROSOFT MADE ME DO IT"

I did see it on the BBC website first which has the same tag line. The sun link was what was on my clipboard at the time though.

I like how there's absolutely no follow up or fact-checking on the RE reference.
I've been playing those games since the first one on PSX, and I don't recall drunken retards torturing anyone.
