PSU for A4000D
« on: November 08, 2017, 12:14:38 AM »
I think the old PSU on my desktop A4000/030 (with CSMkII/040) and a lot of extra addons is getting near to it's end of life. It is 25 years old and it's been running a lot so it's no wonder really.

So, I'd like some suggestions for a decent replacement that does the job without to much hassle. Also, a schematic for the motherboard power cable so I won't mess that one up.

Put this in my 4000 last week, works great.
Wish everything else did but that is another thing.

I bought an Atx converter cable as I dont want to mess with wires.

Where did you find the converter cable?

Mine works just fine after I removed the scandoubler and the MFC-III so I'm pretty sure it's the PSU that's causing my problems.
