Post by: Narayan on September 14, 2005, 10:19:58 PM
If anyone feels they are touched by the title they should know that I feel that all then new Escom Amigas were very generic at the time.

Too early to tell if he is our "favorite" forum member of all
time.  Right now I am going to say no.

I don't think so either.  But, then again I've yet to understand a thing he's said.

That's funny.  :lol:  A generic poster.

..what I'm wondering is the point of the post? Posters' usually ask questions not make another generic comment.  :-(

If I wasn't almost genericly deabused just now I'd write your name here.

Furthermore, although not thematic, but this one got me here, he's calling my name, and I can't call his. Very generic, to say the least.

I've pressed reply and now gonna write the reply.

Why, thank you kindly, I believe you are right. I _am_ reading almost everything else and best to my perception as well as my comprehension (which is almost generic, or not generic at all) I'd say I am really the only one stating himself here, or has a few letters extra for the right impression.

And - furthermore and of no less importance - I'm not - /that/ - generic.

@kd7ota

Indeed.  I have both an Escom A1200 and a Commodore A1200, and I haven't had any problems with my Escom one.  Maybe I'm lucky, I don't know, but it's been fine for me.  :-)

Not bad at all.  I personally liked the sticker they have in place of the C= one.  Have to think, if it is manufactured newer at the time, then it has to have a few more years of life in it.  :-)

Just curious, they still sell Amiga 1200 made by Escom?  :-?

 Not even a faulty disk drive? Are you sure?

Yeah, maybe I'm lucky, it's possible it's not the original disk drive, I didn't check it last time I had it open, but I've had all my disks work, several worked which weren't working on other disk drives.  I'll check what drive it's got next time I open it up, but I haven't had any problems whatsoever with it, it's been great so far.
