If anyone feels they are touched by the title they should know that I feel that all then new Escom Amigas were very generic at the time.
:madashell:
-
....Meh, wouldn't mind having one.
-
On second note....
Is it just me, or does this guy have a striking features as someone else who was obsessed about some high grade stuff... :-?
-
Too early to tell if he is our "favorite" forum member of all
time. Right now I am going to say no.

I don't think so either. But, then again I've yet to understand a thing he's said.
-
Nah, he's just a generic poster...

That's funny. A generic poster.
..what I'm wondering is the point of the post? Posters' usually ask questions not make another generic comment. :-(

Damn, he made it to a.org...
This guy spams csam usenet group quite often. (Actually, nowdays your most likely to see one of his posts than anything else). Another username he uses is ive.

If I wasn't almost genericly deabused just now I'd write your name here.
Furthermore, although not thematic, but this one got me here, he's calling my name, and I can't call his. Very generic, to say the least.
-
Hmmmm.... That sounds very SPECIFIC to me! :-D
-
So was I right about it being our favorite forum poster? :-D

I've pressed reply and now gonna write the reply.
Why, thank you kindly, I believe you are right. I _am_ reading almost everything else and best to my perception as well as my comprehension (which is almost generic, or not generic at all) I'd say I am really the only one stating himself here, or has a few letters extra for the right impression.
And - furthermore and of no less importance - I'm not - /that/ - generic.

Eeeehhhh.........Something happpened? :-)
Anyways. Weather is quite nice.
On a more serious topic, anyone else have an Amiga by Escom and is happy with one? :-)
-
@kd7ota
Indeed. I have both an Escom A1200 and a Commodore A1200, and I haven't had any problems with my Escom one. Maybe I'm lucky, I don't know, but it's been fine for me. :-)

:-o Oh god, its not him is it.
He totally trashed one of my normal newsgroup hangouts.
This guy (If it is Ive) must be tracked down and shot. :pissed:
-
Is it a Shaun kind of guy?
-
I got an Escom Amiga 1200. Great machine.
-
Not bad at all. I personally liked the sticker they have in place of the C= one. Have to think, if it is manufactured newer at the time, then it has to have a few more years of life in it. :-)
Just curious, they still sell Amiga 1200 made by Escom? :-?
-
Of the dead?

Not even a faulty disk drive? Are you sure?
-
Yeah, maybe I'm lucky, it's possible it's not the original disk drive, I didn't check it last time I had it open, but I've had all my disks work, several worked which weren't working on other disk drives. I'll check what drive it's got next time I open it up, but I haven't had any problems whatsoever with it, it's been great so far.
