It actually works fine when I connect the Amiga to my Eizo display using the VGA signal (using a DVI-VGA-DVI adapter as the display has only one DVI-I input).

The HDTV seems to be very nitpicky about the timings. It didn't work with an old Sun Ultra 1 as well.

Thanks for the suggestions,

Adrian

I have similar issues - i could not get it to work with my HDTV at all.
On my Philips 170c LCD monitor (quite old now but works fine) -
I had to fiddle with the screen position and size setting in the monitors
own menus till i got the best i could.

Also changing screenmodes on the Amiga helped - I installed some monitor drivers HD720 and (I cant remember the other one someone here help me please!). You should try these and see what work for you.

In the end I think its clear that a lot of people are having less than satisfactory results with the picture quality and we just have to wait for Jens to get his bum into gear and drop us some firmware / driver updates to fix these issues!
