I haven't run Linux since way back when I had a partion on my PC running the Slackware distro (does anyone rembember that one?)
At this moment I am getting the Debian "Woody" CD 1 from internet. I hope I have it before the end of the day so that I can try it out tonight. It contains KDE and some other nice software.
I just don't understand why people consider KDE and Gnome as nice
Next up will be Enlightenment.
I just don't understand why people consider KDE and Gnome as nice.. Why does everything have to look like MSWin? When I get mine I'll install debian(sid) with Enlightenment window system(hope E17 is out by the time I get my A1). Enlightenment without gnome/kde rules.
Coder are you going to try MacOnLinux?
Why did you have to install Linux yourself?
