MS programs on Linux
« on: November 17, 2003, 04:55:27 PM »
A few questions about Linux.

Is it difficult to install (on a PC currently running Windows ME)

Would I still be able to run the programs we use (i.e MS Word and Outlook)

Thanks for your time.

If you install Linux as a Dual Boot, then you can swap between Windows and Linux at boot time.

If you format your Hard drive you can removed Windows (not a bad thing since ME is really poor even by Windows Standards :-) ), then you can use WINE to run quite a few windows programs.
