OK, this might not be a bug:

When I enter the site, I can see the left and right sections with all the navigation stuff, but as soon as I open a topic in the forums, the table-structure disappears and the forum display takes up the whole screen width. Is this intentional?

Yes actually, but it is subject to change as is everything else.

The issue being that vBulletin (the forum package) is two columns while the newly installed front end is 3. Since when you log in, you're actually authenticating to vBulletin, it automatically pulls up the forums page.

Looking for a workaround, but that might just be "the way it is".

Posting with IBrowse OEM-Version 2.4 as supplied with OS4.  As expected the website looks different, but links are usable and login and posting fine. :D

Posting with AWebPPC ( aka AWeb APL Lite 3.5.09 (May 28 2007) OS4.0 PPC ).

QuickReply feature gave me trouble with IBrowse and AWeb, but using the general Reply to Thread button works fine.

I think the quick reply function uses a lot of javascript. Not really suitable for older browsers. But as you mentioned, the proper reply button works fine though so no real loss. Personally I never use Quick reply.

@Wayne

Posting with NetSurf 2.0 (23 Apr 2009) graphics.library version, the last of my "amiga" web browers.

So far amiga.org looks great on OWB 3.13 and this version of NetSurf.  Posting also fine with these browsers.

As expected, IBrowse and AWeb have a few problems, but still functional, at least on my system.

Great work Wayne.  Looking fine so far.

Thanks,

I just wanted to say thanks for the hard work people have put in porting amiga.org to the new content system and moderating the site over the years.

I may not post as often as some other amiga.org users but I would have missed amiga.org if it went as I find amiga.org the best place to talk about running 68k software on my A1200s and my minimig.

The new look also works quite well even if it dose look a little different from the old look we have all become accustomed too.
