That is not how you develop software. Well, perhaps in the Amiga world, but that seems like a bad idea. For instance Palm release developer beta releases of their new PalmOS almost a year ahead, before their actual release. Ok, PalmOS is tied harder to hardware, but still. You use the new OS in an emulator and test your programs there. This is also how you do with Playstation game development.
With AmigaDE it is even simpler because it is very hardware independent. You don't even use an emulator to test your programs in, you use the actual platform.
If the MPEG thing is possible? Yeah, why not, this is probably why TAO is working with them.
