Thanks all for the quick alerts! Member "Anewthing" has been banned and all his threads have been wiped.
Us Mods can't be on the site 24/7 because of jobs, family, sleep (wait, we are allowed to sleep?!?!?), etc. so we appreciate it when users alert us to things like this. It not only helps us catch spammers, but also intervene topics that are getting too heated.
I'd like to point out that I received 9 E-mails within twenty minutes of this idiotic attempt and we really appreciate your guys vigilance.

What attempt? Spamming, spreading FUD, or more of this hax0r (me so l33t) borrocks?
-
I think he/she was just a pest. Posting random bollocks and such.

Aww, I missed all the fun.

Me too. Must have happened when I was at work :)

It was some new account that was posting three page long adds for their warez like I-phones and such crap. They cut and pasted the post into several of the different subforums. I was alerted of it and stopped them after three...

Pah, my everyday job at laptopvideo2go, as the guests may post there, too.
-
You'd think somebody could pass a law to stop this....
-
its kind of like those phone calls you get.
"have you had a loan in the past 2 years? well we could screw you over even more"
-
I saw the spam, but figured they'd be laid to waste before too long. :)

If you ever see a spam post hit the little triangle with the exclamation mark in it under the avatar! Sorry to reiterate :) x
