Description: This is a Commodore A500 system with Commodore A1010 external Disk Drive, Commodore A590 Hard Disk, and Commodore 1082S-D2 monitor. In the A590 is a 1GB SCSI HD, and added to it are a CD-ROM and Zip-100!

| January 12, 2007, 03:30:03 AM Very nice indeed. That was the hard drive I originally wanted for my 500+, but I couldn't get one. I ended up though with a very nice GVP hard drive, which is excellent. I presume the Zip plugged straight into the back of the hard drive, just like mine did into the GVP. I may get another Zip to use with my GVP hard drive one day, because I have lots of mods, and for some reason the sound from my 500+ is far better than that from the 1200. Incidentally I have a Wizard three button mouse which used to work fine with my 1200 - clicking in and out of Opus with the middle button, etc. Now since rigging up my new Zip drive and attaching my switch box to the parallel port it refuses to work. Any ideas?!!! Yesnaby |

Although that Floppy goes best with the A1000 there was one that wa made to match the A500..its the same one made for the CDTV except the CDTV one is black. I think the "Dale Luck" model was simply a repackaged Sun Mouse with a couple wires switched to make it work on Amiga. One of the earlier Sun models used a mouse with all the same signals as an Amiga is expecting, just in a different pinout. :lol: |
