What modifications have to be made to use PSX joypads with Amiga and what games support them?
-
Microcode solutions make(made) an addaptor for the
paralled port called psxport.
It came with a bit of software and a few libraries.
Most new games like payback and wipeout support it. The psxport program allows any game that supports a cd32 joypad to be playable with a psx joypad.
Aslong as it does not take over the OS
The PSXPorts also allows you to attached a pp9 battery so you get vibration on dualshock pads

why u might ask? , ah because i use the PUZAstick and that doesnt care if you play OLD games or new and work without any hw or sw patch]

this link comes in handy if you want to read about theese great joysticks which is made on demand.
(its in general psx and sega DC joysticks (not pads) which have been rebuilt for AMIGA , and you can use it on your CD32 or on your A1200/a4k etc,
and there is upto buttons supported (if the game support it).
