by far one of my most favorite amiga games!

when i used to play this, i probably felt happier than i ever did any other time

I was playing that game last night - when the bad doods catch up to me it scares the hell out of me
then they kill me and it scares me more!

That game is great! It's surprisingly well done when thinking of its age. There is a huge map, a lot to to do, day/night, RPG elements...and one guy made it all!

remember it was done in ~1986! so the graphics were probably seen as quite good back then :-)

the huge map was one of the best parts!! i just love plenty of space to explore - day/night was good too, a bit more realistic

The only things I would complain are a bit boring graphics (but they work ok) and frequent battles.

the battles were a bit annoying especially for beginners and players with few/bad weapons - i remember running around for hours from bad guys! because i knew i couldnt kill them!

Sorry for being "out of the loop".
I decided to search for Faery Tale in the search engine and came up with this. My mate had an Amiga when we weer about 10 years old and this is the game we ALWAYS played! Memories flooded my mind and I had to search for it.
Now that Paul_Gadd has posted the ADF file...how do I run/play this game? I use Windows XP.
I never used emulators before and really want to play and FINISH this game.

Please advise? Thanks!

my advice to you is:
1. DONT PMAIL ME EVER AGAIN ASKING HOW TO GET PIRATE ADF'S

2. Find the game cheap second hand somewhere

Assuming of course you own the original and are using the .adf for convenience, surf to WinUAE.net and download the emulator.

You will need access to an Amiga in order to get the ROM image required for the emulator to function. You must own the Amiga in question for this to be legal...

actually its not an amiga that must be owned to be legal, its the software
