There have been stories of people finding decent Amiga equipment in the trash - I wonder how much hasn't been saved - I rescued some using the freecycle yahoo groups some years back.
As for the Atari, the best one ever made was an 800XL followed by the 130XE. ST - should have left it where it belonged
