The speed of processors has outstripped software. This is the bottleneck in the world of games and porn.
To say the average user needs a 3 gig processor to do this mundane stuff is ludicrous!
This is not the argument of days of old when 512k was "enough" memory. This is different.
Gamers are driving the market for faster stuff. It's now the speed of the graphics board that makes the difference.
