Title: 64 bit PowerPC
Post by: Will on September 20, 2002, 05:17:04 AM
A 64bit processor to continue the PowerPC line from IBM. Hopefully, despite rumours of Motorola pulling out of the desktop market, PowerPC still has a future.

I'm not shure how I would feel about "apple" being
used to describe the bus in an amiga!! Maybe apple
would not even let AmigaOne/pegasos use it &
all would need to make thier own high speed bus? :-?

Motorola's slow pace of development has been hurting them and companies that rely on them for years so it's not surprising.  Besides, the PowerPC was more IBM than Motorola from the start.
