I dont want to sound like a nay-sayer, but from reading the "AboutAnubis", it seems to me that they dont know that much about Linux in the first place. They want to get rid of ALSA because it's complicated with all the sound systems? Really, that is quite insane.

Also they want the shell to be more like "Linux shells" (whatever that is) - which to me is just silly. The Amiga shell certainly has its limitations, but all in all is a good part of what makes amigaos enjoyable, they should rather focus on improving functionality within the context of Amiga shell instead.

The linux kernel is moving and changing, I dont quite see how the anubis developers will manage to follow up. I'm afraid Anubis will be like Amithlon, only with less software and hence less usability. Maybe they should just join DragonFly BSD instead, at least they would have a kernel developer who know AmigaOS and appreciate the features they're after.
