You wrote 5 sets of these roms? Are they compatible with KS 3.1?
AFAIK, yes.
Software hut says to use 2.04 or 3.1 you have to have -06 or -07. These are not the latest but the do resolve the memory address conflict caused by earlier versions.
From the Amiga hardware database:
boot ROMs below rev 6 are incompatible with Kickstart 2.0 and above
the ROM address space overlaps the upper 256 kB of the 512 kB Kickstart ROMs (Kickstart 1.3 is 256 kB only)
by the time AmigaOS loads, the boot ROMs are supposed to be off but due to a bug in the A26x0 ROM code they remain active, causing an address space collision
fitting a rev 6 or 7 ROM pair solves the problem some boards are reported being incompatible with the newer ROMs either
From Software Hut installation instruction for KS 3.1 in Amiga 2000:
If the system includes an A2620 or A2630 Accelerator Board, an upgrade of the board's ROM chips may be required.
For A2620, the ROM chips at position U4 and U5 must be revision -06 or higher. For A2630, the ROM chips at position U102 and U103 must be revision -06 or higher. You can check the revision without opening the case; at the processor selection screen press SHIFT-M to enter the A26x0 monitor. From the monitor use the "version" command. The ROM chips are ok if a date of 01/15/91 or later is displayed.
