The Amiga driver only use one of the GPU's and since the memory is split between the two GPU's the Amiga only use 32Mb of the 64Mb available... has to do with the fact that the Amiga driver are made for the Voodoo3 and only works with Voodoo4/5 cause the hardware is made to be backward compatible. There are other issues with the Voodoo4/5 card on the Amiga aswell such as none working screenmodes with low colordepth. The bottleneck is the Amiga not the Voodoocard so the speed should be virtually the same on Voodoo3 as with Voodoo4/5.
I have a Voodoo3 3000 in my A4000T... got a Voodoo3 2000 and Voodoo5 5500 just collecting dust in case the first card goes boom. Got another Voodoo5 5500 in my lowend PC at the club. All PCI of cause.
I payed 10£ a pop for the Voodoo5 5500 card... about 7£ a pop for the Voodoo3 3000 and 2000.
