Hi, I downloaded the AROS bootable CD image and burned a CD.

AROS boots but I can't move the mouse pointer.  My PC has a PS2 type mouse installed (not USB).

Anything I can do to fix this?  I can't see any place to change the settings while booting (other than the video settings).

I tried using the old Amiga keyboard shortcuts for mouse pointer movement, but they didn't work either.

You can't just nick down to the local department store and buy a cheap USB mouse?

Well, I didn't want to have to just to try out AROS.  But also because AROS is supposed to support PS2 mice.

Understandable, but as time goes by you are going to have a hard time finding anything but USB accessories.
I stopped using PS/2 keyboards and mice a couple of years ago.
The nice thing is I can swap most of my stuff between systems.
Apples (as long as its not an Apple keyboard), Sun hardware, PCs all with the same expansion.
I even switched my kvm to a usb model.
