We're 3 weeks away from the year 2007!  I really think limiting this to 128mb of ram is strange.  I know it's for embedded and all, but doesn't that sort of cut down it's potential uses?  Why the strange for factor?

Why would a company choose this board over other solutions already out there?
A3000D (16mhz, 2MB Chip, 4MB Fast, SCSI (300+MB), SuperGen Genlock, Kick 3.1)
Back in my day, we didn\'t have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we\'d just have to shove them together.

128megs will be fine for MorphOS.  Dont know about the form factor.

Why choose this board?  Because I'd rather pay $200 for a decent board instead of $600, but the primary reason.. it runs MorphOS.

Looking at it specifically from a retro user point of view, it's dirt cheap and it's specs are higher than most solutions out there. The specs are higher than any classic Amiga for a fraction of the price of an extremely flakey 3rd/4th/5th hand PPC accelerator alone and it's new with a solid warranty.

It's a way to build a sharp, small footprint Amiga compatible for very little money. Is it a monster? No, but it's not meant to be. It wasn't even built with enthusiasts in mind.

Lastly, it's for sale. What else is actually for sale in this market today?

It's a very nice little board! It'd be a great excuse to pull OS4 from the dust pile, but if not that's why the AROS bounty is so frickin high for it!

The form factor is perfect, I wouldn't want to mount it in some generic case... This forces everyone to come up with something special! It's small and downright cute!

A4000D, A3640 OC-36.3MHz, custom tower, Mediator A4000D. Diamond Banshee 16M, Indivision AGA 4000, GVP HC+8.

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.

 - Someone please design SOME kind of DIY accelerator for the A4000. :D -

There are videos of EFIKA running "the mystery OS", showing games, movie trailers etc. Guess what that OS was? ;-)

But no sign of if/when MOS for Efika will be released. I for one would NOT buy it while its Linux only... if MOS ships then I may well buy one.. but not until so perhaps MOS better ship if anyone expects Efika to succeed!
