Title: Global SX-64 party tomorrow!
Post by: RobertB on January 19, 2013, 09:34:29 PM
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Commodore SX-64, there will be international get-togethers going on tomorrow, January 20 (and for the rest of the month of January).  Here are the user groups/users who will be invading coffee shops and restaurants with their SX-64's:

Dutch users gathering in Amsterdam
Fresno Commodore User Group
Portland Commodore User Group
Puget Sound Commodore User Group
Toronto PET User Group
Central Texas Amiga Computer Society
users in France

Hey, join us in celebrating the SX-64!  Bring out your SX-64, use it and/or gather your friends and use this world's first color transportable computer!  Take photos!  Take videos!

For more information, go to http://c64.berrydejager.com

January 19, the night before Sunday's SX-64 party, Berry de Jager released a PAL C64 demo in honor of the event.  You can download it at

I'd be happy to participate next year if someone would give/sell me an SX-64 :)

Hi Matt,

I have one if your interested,  PM me an offer...

It's in excellent shape and comes with original disks and manuals.  It is stored now, but will dig it out if there is interest and will then provide pics...

Take care,

Matt
