Description: I saw a mod for an internal CD-Rom and decided there was a better way to mount the drive.

Something doesnt add up here - the connector on the teac 224e cdrom that has been used in this mod is a different size to the mini ide one on the adapter used?  Has anyone else tried this mod and what components did you use?

Yes, Floppy and HD are both still there.  I made up a new mounting bracket and mounted the 2.5" HD closer to the floppy.

Here is whats inside:

GVP '030 with 8MB
Toshiba 4GB 2.5" HD
Floppy
Teac slimline CD-Rom
Elbox Fast ATA1200

Looks very nice. Were you able to keep both the hard drive and floppy in the case?

Very nice.  I would like to see those other pictures.  If you're not up to creating a website detailing the mod, just post a writeup in the hardware forum with more pics.
