TBC cable pinouts? GVP TBC Plus or Kitchen Sync
« on: April 10, 2013, 05:28:50 PM »
I've got two good TBC's with no cables, a GVP TBC Plus and a Kitchen Sync but no cables.

I'd like to use one of them to clean up an old VHS for a buddy of mine, but so far I've had no luck finding cable pinouts.

Help?

I have pin outs (pin in's) for the serial control cable on this site:

The Kitchen Sync has two cables: control box and breakout box.  What pins do you need info on?

I just need enough to get composite in and out of either one of these, nothing fancy.

These old tapes are so wavy and jumpy that my VT5 can't lock to it well.  I'm hoping the TBC will help steady the signal.

Thanks!

The bad thing is that I gave away two DPS TBC II's about a month ago to another member :(

I'm glad he's set up with his Toaster now, but I didn't see this coming.
