I wouldn't touch spinning rust with a barge-pole unless I already had an SSD as my OS disk.Now, an Amiga is probably 1000x more forgiving than other OSes, but I'm done with rattling, noisy and hot storage. I am guessing you can afford both if you have invested in an adapter like that??? Or there might be some specific reason you're looking at spinning disks (like slot space).
