AROS is neato
« on: June 04, 2004, 05:28:55 PM »

Ok, I just wanted to pop in and say how pleased I am with Aros.   What a cool idea...  I love it.  I'm planning to contribute some programming time when I GET some time (single parent here).

One quick question: Why no screen dragdown for custom screens? Is this something that's still on the to-do list or is there a technical reason for it being left out so far?

Thanks
Tom

My layman's understanding of it is that the Amiga's custom chipset made screen-dragging an easy trick to pull off, but it's a lot of hassle for little gain on today's video hardware.

But you are correct, AROS is neato! :-D
