Title: One of my CIA chips is bad on my 1200 but how to tell which one?

is there a testing program that can tell which one is bad ?

Amiga test kit or diag roms, or let us know what's not working from that we can work it out, for example lost floppy drive control, below will help:

Amigatest kit says something about 16 ticks fail but doesn’t say which chip. Other than that haven’t notice any other issues.


update: Just realized I have a pair of Diagram roms that I bought last year when I got my 3.2 roms so will check it out :)

Ok if joysticks are working and floppy drive is and you notice no issues I would not worry too much, I would try Amiga Test Kit.
