ACK & BeOS/Haiku???
« on: April 27, 2007, 09:49:52 PM »
http://cgi.ebay.com/BeOS-Pro-5-03-NEW-operating-system-BE-OS_W0QQitemZ200102590496QQihZ010QQcategoryZ4619QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I'm not stalking the guy - just happened upon this while checking to see what the BeBox went for on ebay. Note the current high bidder.

Conspiracy!!

Hmmm, I presume then that the new Amiga will also be able to run BeOS :-)

Let's see if he bids on a MacOS X package as well

Heck I'm interested in Haiku too!  According to the website it's under the MIT license so why not!  The more OSs we can get to run on the new Amiga hardware, the better!

Oh yeah.. I don't blame him either. In fact if anyone has a means in which I can get BeOS R5 release for me to download I would be thankful. 'Gonna try BeOS first before Haiku. However the few torrents I have found havent been successful.

R5 is free - correct. Any guidence in getting my feet wet would be great.

Thanks
