Yes but to say Paint Shop is vastly inferior [implied] to PhotoShop is a misnomer too. Plenty of people have proven that its just as capable and it supports the same plug-ins. PhotoShop is just harder to use, at least initially (that and Corel spoilt it so versions after 9 kinda sucked), so that they can sell support and training.
Same goes for GIMP, except that's near impossible to use for some other anal reason. Never understood why they made it work so different to all other graphics apps on the planet (eg right clicking does NOT deselect a selection) although I am guessing fear of patent infringement in the methods.
