Excellent! Can’t wait to see how this works…

Will any YouTubers be getting one to demonstrate and review? I know Chris Edwards mentioned he was to receive one, but nothing transpired.

Development work on the public release of  AmiBench V46.1 is coming to a conclusion in time for the soon to be released  A600GS computer. The latest program to be backported from the Enhancer Software to the A600GS is the Calendar app. The Calendar is fully skinnable with 20 themes provided.

For the programmers out there, It uses the Shared Image Class, now accelerated by the ARM Graphics Library

I find it strange, that user complains about capcha, now all of a sudden amiga.org is being spammed.
I have added more questions to registration and adjusted captcha again.

Amiga Hardware Issues and discussion / Re: VERY Dim video output from Amiga 4000
« Last post by Retronaut on April 30, 2024, 11:57:31 PM »
I came to a similar conclusion earlier today, it appears NOTHING appears out of scope as much as Id expect to see the dimness I am observing. So, maybe my cable has a fault, or the monitor ONLY when combines i.e. THIS RGB to SCART cable, with THIS Samsung monitor.

I DO own a 1084s, and a cable for it, that was previously tested as good.
So why have I not tested it so far? Because Im having a VERY bad back for going on 4 weeks now
and the 1084s is upstairs, and quite heavy.

Looks like Ill have to grit my teeth and bring it down to test. As you say, I fear this is a rabbit hole and in reality the Amiga 4000 is fine.

Lets see!

@SpeedGeek This is from the original admin/mod discussion on the subject
Quote
He asked for help to recover his account, which we did. After regaining access, he emailed again asking if we could merge his two accounts. We replied that you are not allowed two accounts and banned the second account and gave him warning points for breaking the rules. He replied saying I was "mean" and "bye bye amibay".

1. He did NOT contact us about losing access to his original account before creating a new one.
2. We did not know he had a second account until he ADMITTED IT.
3. We carried out the appropriate actions (banned second account, issued warning points).
4. Normal, well adjusted members at that point would of apologised.

As you can see from the above HE asked for his account to be closed and we obliged.

I disagree - he was warned and AmiBay rules clearly state you are only allowed one account.

The rules are there to help protect buyers and sellers alike.

He was warned exactly when? Do you expect him to remember in perfect detail the Amibay rules which existed when he created his first account 15-20 years ago? He stated he could not even remember his user name or password.

Did the Amibay staff member who banned him consider his request to merge his two accounts into one as a responsible effort to comply with the Amibay rules?

Of course not, and just another case of "Common Sense" failure on Amibay. ::)
