One way or another, I'll be there - so, count me in. Glad to see this getting going.

My Amiga collection is really thin these days, so I don't know if I can put together anything ( just two computers and a very few "extra" parts)- BUT just to settle this early, I already offered my place. I'll be more than happy to host a meeting (or two).
Just don't be offended by all the Windows machines around here.....
(Anyone have a spare switch for an early 1084S D1? I really need another 1080 1084 for my C-128 too)

I am glad this first meeting was a success. Sorry I couldn't make it (what a time to get the flu!) Hopefully nothing will get in my way for the next meeting.
Way to go guys!

@ oldsmobile_mike,

It's not a mini - it's 500 tower - but the site says it is supported by MorphOS - so I'm going to see how it works out.
I also have a RPi that I am going to set up with Vice.
and fix my 1084S (with a new switch)..... all sorts of projects to get to.
I have a couple of Zorro 2 cards you all may find interesting too. I am trying to get the old National Amiga data base too - a friend has it all on DVD if he can find it! That would be handy to have on hand...
So, I'm ready, if I can just get there.

Neat!  I'd love to see the Pi, too.  There's a couple links in my previous post that might have some tips on fixing that 1084S switch, the part number is something I came across while researching in the forums a while back, might help you.  :)

Also just received a message over on Amibay that my Thylacine USB card is ready, so I might have something else to demo at our next meeting, yay!  :D

What machine is the USB card for? I am no longer on amibay (my account apparently died, and they don't like my E-Mail account)

I wonder if anyone has had any luck using 3.5OS with the Thylacine card. Looking into a nic would be my main reason for getting one. This is the first Zorro 2 usb card I have heard of.

It would be great to have some NCAUG people fold into this idea. The more knowledge we can get together the better.
There used to be Commodore/Amiga user groups all over this area. It's about time this happened again.

Sorry for dropping out. I had some medical problems that laid me up for quite a while, but I am back. I can't offer a meeting spot now (this place is to small), BUT, if Annapolis MD is central enough, I can get a local library for us.
I'll keep an eye on this thread, to see what's going on.......

I can't drive these days (eye problems), so unless someone comes through the Annapolis area that I could get a ride with, I'm sunk.

haha...  I just popped on because MagicM stopped by Whyzzat.com when I noticed this thread.  I was all like "Washington/Baltimore meetup?, heck yeah", when I noticed the 2013 date of the original post... :)

So is this still a thing?  I might be able to drag the new wife along and subject her to the old ways if someone lets me know when and where.. :)

So, you're in the D.C. area now? Still using an Amiga? Hope all's well.

Is there still any interest in this group? I would love to attend, but cannot drive right now. If any one could give me a ride I could bring a pristine A1000 along.
