No chips, no CPU card, no drives, no power supply, no keyboard, no mouse.. it's just a rusted case and a very corroded motherboard.  All that for $280?

Even weirder is that when I search "Amiga 3000" in both vintage computers and all categories, it doesn't show up.  Somehow I stumbled upon it in some other search.  I'm not sure what's up with their search algorithm.  There's another 3000 for sale by the same computer_preservation group.. It's marginally better because it includes some of the chips:

$500 for "rare" A3000 motherboard that's missing RAM, Buster, Agnus and maybe the SCSI chips.  Seriously?

The 3000T motherboard... might be worth it. Although the guy does say he's taking offers.

I offered him $50 for the busted 3000D motherboard because I needed the amber chip and he turned it down.  So much for taking reasonable offers

those 3000 and 3000T boards are from a local seller here. They got sold in a huge lot of things that were posted in the facebook group. He paid $500 for all of it and its all trashed.

Do you think he's capable of pulling an amber out of the socket?  I was going to make him an offer for just that chip.  I just don't want to spend money and end up with a damaged chip... already have one.  I contacted one seller that sells amiga gear, among other vintage computer equipment, and they offered to sell me their last amber for $120... shipping included.  nice.
