Ha! I actually messaged that guy. He's in PA and wants to do do local, only. Says he's willing to come as far as VA, alternately I'm going to be in PA next month so could probably work something out. He says he's got an A2000 in the case currently but it's missing some of its trim pieces and bezels. I think if he were really motivated to sell it he'd at least take more pictures. Knowing how hard those missing pieces are to aquire, I probably won't go for it.  :(

Wow, check this out, esp. the description.  Of course I've seen the video of Amiga's used at NASA, but this is something a bit more unique.  :)

And Punkyclown is about to clean up in Amiga town!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amiga-A1200/263385244419?hash=item3d52fbe303:g:riwAAOSwiYVaMIkd

I was watching that.  Think it's priced a couple hundred dollars on the high side, but hey, if people are willing to pay, right?  And at least in this case you'd know the owner and know where it's coming from, which is worth something (in my book).

Do people REALLY buy boxes?

I still have my original C64 box.  Don't think I'd ever part with it... but I did tell my gf "It's worth money!" when she saw me moving it in storage the other day, haha.  ;)

That one off serial number though... #facepalm

The 3000T motherboard... might be worth it. ;) Although the guy does say he's taking offers.

Not crazy, but it's amazing to me that people still manage to find stocks of NOS AGA chips for sale.

Well I hope my 4000T motherboards are worth more than that :).

The 3000T is probably more rare.  Anyone have the production numbers handy?
