$850+ for an A1200 with a 40Mhz 030!!! INSANE!!! The collection of graphics software is nice but $860!!!!!! That is ridiculous!!!!!! Is this just some impatient person who doesn't want to wait for the Vampire V4 or a Big Box Amiga. This is ONLY an A1200. Has it even been recapped or RetroBrited or anything? Is it signed by Jay Miner or at least David Pleasance? What is the USP here?

The only honorable thing for this computer is to salvage it for a new red board.  Although, I have had amazing results from putting a case in the dish washer.  Well, minus the missing bits around the Del and Help keys.

I am at a total loss for words.  If this system goes for over $860, makes me wonder what I could get for my Blizzard 1260, 192MB, Indivision AGA, RapidRoad USB, HD floppy, 8GB DOM system.

I was watching that.  Think it's priced a couple hundred dollars on the high side, but hey, if people are willing to pay, right?  And at least in this case you'd know the owner and know where it's coming from, which is worth something (in my book).

I still have my original C64 box.  Don't think I'd ever part with it... but I did tell my gf "It's worth money!" when she saw me moving it in storage the other day, haha.

I bought an a4000D empty box from EBay Maybe 10 years ago or so. When I moved the A4000 that I bought it for I believe it got me my money back and then some. You rarely see the boxes for sale because people who keep them want them and everyone else throws them out when they buy the computer. I would love to acquire an A3000T box but have never seen one for sale.
